Glaring differences between members and webmasters.
 

On our paysite we have a star rating system. This lets members vote on a set and also allows them to view the content in order of it's star rating. We also have a program that sees what is the most viewed content.

Guess what?

The top three videos and two sets on the paysite are all ones that are slow sellers on the content store. Go figure that one.

All are non exclusive!!!!!!

The shoots that I say, "Ok, I'll post that one, but it's not that great" about are always the ones that kick total ass in sales. And the shoots I love do horribly. I'm glad it's not just me.

Ok, so what insight does that give you ? Why are webmasters "tastes" different from members ? What makes a webmaster a poor judge of what will sell ?

Charly - what software are you running for your paysite? I've been looking at a few different CMS systems, but can't find anything that really fits my ideas.
