Fun date ideas (weather permitting)
 

I need some ideas...
We both like music but concerts are a huge ordeal as we live on an island.

What's something fun and not too over the top expensive to do? Neither of us are into the whole mini golf thing.

go on a hike for like 5 miles...takes about 3 hours (give or take your fitness level lol) and its bonding time together and free lol :)

or...
rock climbing, ice skating, bowling, movies, if you have a GPS unit, you can go tresure hunting (Geocaching.com), gambing (or bingo lol)...i dunno, i suck at ideas.

sailing - with small nibble-able items and champagne is a good one

just got another idea..

shooting range (indoors) or paintball (outdoors) :winkwink:

She's afraid of water. :(

maybe try some motor race or car racing....

How big is the island? Take her to a vineyard and go wine tasting... :2 cents:

picnic in the park, do a guided nature trail with a group of birdwatchers or something, ride the transit system til you're lost, then walk around and explore a new neighbourhood.

She's not a huge fan of birds either. HAHA. :)

what about local events? Anything gonna be happening around where you're at? there are concerts up and down the island, you know that, it's just that they're in the pubs (hell, there's a teen dance in Nanaimo on Friday you could always take her to :winkwink: :1orglaugh :1orglaugh ) - :winkwink:

I wonder if the body painting festival is gonna be going on soon - that might rock her world - or you could just hire the guy to give HER a body paint, maybe she'd like that

what about whale watching etc.. ? or take her to Mt Benson or somewhere with a cool view, or for ski-ing or whatever

what would excite YOU to do.. maybe if you go at it from that angle you'll come up with something cool :pimp

Good suggestion --- can do the shooting thing outdoors too if you have a gun club up there.

(puts buying some 7.62 rounds on list of things to do this week)
