 Major gasoline shortage right now

I saw on the front page of the paper this morning that all of the gas stations were going to close down because they were out of fuel.
Whatever. Sure enough my neighbor came running up to me tonight and she was yelling at me to leave right now and go get gas. Well, I remembered the paper so I did. I went to the closest gas station, about 3 blocks from me and a block into the barrio and cars were already backed up to the street. I waited in line for an hour, good thing because I was on empty. I talked to some ladies there and they said there are no gas stations open on the entire peninsula (for about 300 miles) except the one we were at. Well, I got gas. Some broken pipeline or something and it will take about a week to fix they say. Guess what? I filled up and paid less than I have for months. When I left the line was horrendous. There's no way all of those cars will get gas. Tourists are FUCKED, no taxis after tomorrow :1orglaugh Jet fuel? I seriously doubt it. LOL If this was the US they would have tripled the price as soon as they heard the news. I love Government controlled gas :thumbsup |

 Update:
Local traffic is already beginning to die :pimp I have the gas tank filler on my car backed up 2 inches from a brick wall :winkwink: . |

But I can say that our guard is retired Navy and during the hurricane in July he never left when we all evacuated. He stayed and the waves were so high they filled our pool with sea weed and salt water and washed through the grounds and over the road in front. . |
