YP Mexico 2005: A photo story
 

Everyone's been hitting me up on ICQ asking where my pictures from YP Mexico are. Well, I'm still on the road so you'll have to hold your damn horses alredy.

In the mean time, however, because I'm the nice guy I am, I'm posting a handful of pictures - in the form of a story. So here goes.

A handful of us were part of the YNOT advance team. Besides myself, this included YNOT Bob ("Roberto"), Scooter, Mamakitty, and my wife Bunny1. We met up right before the Mexican border.

The trip across the border was uneventful...

Once we got to the hotel I did the back of my car. Seems I forgot what year it was. Note this was BEFORE we started drinking!

A quick stop at the Cantina, and Scooter and I started into the shots while "Roberto" had to get the keys to some of the houses where some YP members were staying....

Then we helped "Roberto" get some supplies....

Just for the record, before the bus even left San Diego I was smashed and "Roberto" was the first one to get partially naked.

This brings us up to when the bus got to the hotel.........

Nice photo story there

Not sure what happened there. YNOT Bob ("Roberto") was off setting up the YNOT house. Scooter, Mamakitty, and my wife all sat there as I wrote it out on the back of my car (a yearly tradition now). No one fucking caught it until YNOT Bob came up to us. He looked at it and said "Is it really 2006 already?".

So much for proper adult supervision, huh?

So then the bus arrives and LAJ gets to work....

Now that it was dark, everyone started to find someone to spend the night with. Zebra quickly set his sights on this fine little dandy....

Laura learned that you can't wear a hooded sweatshirt while drunk. If you do, you always think people are sneaking up on you....

Laurel - bless her heart - didn't find anything wrong with brushing her teeth or shaving in Mexico. While normally I would be happy about her brushing her teeth and shaving her legs.... Americans can't use Mexican water for such things. Mexico has "lower standards" than we do in the US and us Americanos can get sick from their water.

So we got her nice and drunk and told her about how sick she was gonna be for the rest of the trip.

I don't have any pictures of this, but one of the funniest moments of YP Mexico was when Zebra suddenly fell over for no reason. If you look close at this picture you'll notice he's in a chair with his back touching the ground.

Roc....great pics!!! Looks like a fantasmo time was had by all...it's a good thing you took so many pics 'cause I'm sure a bunch of people are now saying...."When the HELL did that happen??"

Surprised that you didn't remember I did it because Niko had just thrown a glass bottle of pickles in the fire 5 feet in front of me and I didn't feel like having glass shrapnel in my face. That and I was too drunk to get up...

This is by far the best YP Pic thread Ever. I admire the effort you put into this Rochard.

I must admit the pic you took of me drumming was a personal highlite, I really was enjoying myself there. I love the drums and playing for you guys was awesome.
