while sitting on a flight only a week ago i was wondering this exact same thing - if u could get one small enough to pass as your carry on luggage would it be allowed

Can a parachute fit into a carry-on space on an airplane?

Don't know about legal but it's certainly worthless. You'd be ripped to shreds jumping out of a plane traveling at 400+ knots

What would be the point? Exit doors are designed to open on the ground. It's not like the movies where you just easily open the door and jump out (and leave your fellow passengers to perish) :upsidedow

Im sure its not illegal, but it wouldnt fit and useless yes

How did that one guy survive when he stole the ransom and parachuted out. Never found him.
