Any decent handhelds for Web surfing?
 

I need to check stuff etc and want to do it from a handheld. I travel a lot and a nice way to look at stats and check a few things without lugging a laptop is the ideal. Anyone accomplish this?

haven't really checked it out but the playstation portable has a web browser and is supposed to be pretty good, plus you can watch movies and play games :)

I think a PDA is your best bet, get one with a nice big and bright screen so it's easy on your eyes. I've browsed on my P910i but it's really not that comfortable.

Loading times can be a bitch too

I bought one of those little 12 inch powerbooks for traveling. Still to clumbsy. I want to upgrade from this treo 600, was thinking about one of them fancy blackberry thingys.
But i don't want to go back to the treo 300 days (phone in one pocket, pda in the other)

anyone use stats remote on a PDA?

stats remote on your phone/pda would rock

treo 650 does pretty well.

bought myself a qtek s100
very cool stuff but don't try to surf with it, to damn slow :)

That looks pretty cool. I talked to stats remote and if it can run java virtual machine from MS it can run stats remote.

And most important it has Wifi and UMTS. I'm gonna love this one

get something with email. i use stats remote and have it email my sidekick email address my stats once every hour when i want my stats and im not home. the only problem is you need to leave your computer running with stats remote.

It looks like it will come in at the high end of the range, say $700. Intel 520mhz CPU, MS Mobile 5.0 O/S, Wi-Fi, 640x480 display, etc.

One neat little thing is that it supports real-time video calling (with another MDA Pro user that is) via the small digital camera next to the screen in this shots. Some 320x240x10fps mode or close to it.
