Good "Drug" related Movies
 

I have a trip these days and it's watching movies related to drug addicts and how they react etc.

So far I saw:

Requiem for a dream
The basketball diaries

you guys have any recomendations for me to rent next?

I smoked a joint right before my model shoot this weekend. Does that count?

scarface and how tony is hooked on drugs is great

"Rush" - Two cops (dude, chick) start doing heroin to "fit in" with the dealers they try and nab.

"Permanent Midnight" -- Funny watching Ben Stiller all cranked out throwing himself against a high-rise window that won't break.

"Love and a 45" -- Not really a drug movie, but a few of the main (bad) characters shoot up on some nutty stuff throughout most of it.

Trainspotting all the way! Its a must.

Especially if you're high while watching it. The 'in your face' one on ones with the camera, and the music sequences are great.

now I don't do drugs, so don'T post movies like Pink Floyd The Wall. god I remember watching that on magic mushroom at 17 y.o it was fucked up! hehe

All of the movies mentioned above are fantastic. Gosh, I can't believe that I have seen 98% of them LOL.

Just watched Blow again yesterday... a good movie.

I'm amazed no-one has mentioned Midnight Express, although it is definitely "related" rather than about drug use: it's (loosely) a true story about an American imprisoned in Turkey for attempting to smuggle out hash.

Along with all the great titles mentioned above, try to check out this lesser known, but fantastic character-driven film, "Jesus' Son" (1999), with Billy Crudup. Jack Black's also got a great role in it.
