well the great thing about mambo if you have any issues with it you can google it and you will find an answer pretty much every time. I don't really see any downsides to it as it is so widespread and has many modules for it.

cool thanks

Mambo is cool that you can add things on to it- it still sucks big time for SEO work though.

Any good tutorials on Mambo you can reccommend?

thanks.

I like Postnuke and I've been noticing it more and more lately on sites I see while surfing. Someone posted one here the other day that looked great.

Lots of modules, easy to use theming, plenty of support.

Try this site.

I think Joomla is the new spinoff from Mambo, more info here.

actually you can get add ons that help it out quite a bit.. such as http://www.sakic.net/scripting/mambo/sef_advance/ which works on both mambo and joolma.

for example this site uses it and runs on mambo or joomla (I'm not sure which).. http://www.seochat.com

As far as mambo and joomla I'm personally going with joomla as mambo is no longer going to be open source.

Mambo has the most themes, components, modules, etc and is pretty extensible... but its a real hahahahahair to use. For simplicity, I prefer phpnuke.

thanks for all inputs

Its a big question here and thats if I really need a more advanced like joomla.

What I understand is that its a bit messy after install.

I will have alot of news and things easy changed and maintainable, must be good for SE. There will be a shit load of categories with mostly text. Some polls, and generally a site where people can interact regarding to the content. No its not an adult site hehe

Im checking back again tomorrow i have to snozz now.

again im glad for all inputs, if you feel like telling more please do. Maybe ill give ya a beer next time i see you ;) you never know hehe
