A serious thread about KRL
 

For once I'll cut the drama and I'll get serious about KRL.

I hope loryn will be so kind to allow free speech on this board and give me room to out my thoughts.

Since a few years ago, KRL has been frequenting GFY. Slowly his posts gave him the image of a serious and good businessman. Then the men.com sale hits GFY. KRL claims he's bought men.com. Other than on this board, the sale hasn't been confirmed on any of the reputable places like dnjournal.com. If the parties involved are so open and happy about the deal, why aren't details provided to the people that make dnjournal.com, and other such places?

We make a flash forward. In the meanwhile, KRL, self-proclaimed millionaire and big-time businessman, fills his days with posting news facts on a board named GoFuckYourself.com. Every now and then, he refers to his great riches - the private jets, the expensive wives, the lunches outdoors, the times he met his idol Donald Trump and what he discussed with him. KRL takes his time to give us a personal lecture about the howabouts of the world of big corporations and wealthy people.

Time passes and KRL announces he's shooting for a men.com marketing campaign, inviting all of GFY's goodlooking men. Roughly two years after date, no advertisement has been broadcast, and men.com still looks like a banner farm. Currently, the site is fed by free third party newsfeeds. Revenues are made from AdSense, not accounting to more than $5 per day.

During all this time, KRL announces the launch of his webmaster resource site and his own webmaster message board. I can't post the names here, but if I did you'd see that no post has been made for weeks. Also, the board's name is a blatant ripoff of GFY.

Every now and then, KRL announces his new domain registrations. His portfolio features names ranging from CondominiumApartmentFlatHouses.com to InternetMarketingCorporationCompany.com. Our resident millionaire aims to profit off natural type-in traffic while targeting eventually to sell, just like his big example DarkBlueSea, aka fabulous.com. The only thing is, such business plans won't work in such volumes smaller than 100,000 domains, especially not when we're talking about 10 domains. In an attempt to raise a few extra cents a day, KRL starts linking one of his hosting (high PPC keyword) domains parked at fabulous in his sig, which is completely against the rules.

Our resident millionaire is sometimes asked about his millions, and says he used to own a phone sex company. For me there is no reason to believe this is true, as it is not backed up by any proofs, but moreover because repetitive failures when attempting to build something in adult make me think differently about KRL's capabilities.

A few weeks ago, our resident millionaire started polishing his design skills and showing them off in design contests, aiming for the third prize amounting to $50. Try not to laugh when you see his graphics.

Our resident millionaire works for webfather, the god in domains who owns domains like porno.com, candy.com, booty.com and many others. Porno.com was subject to an experiment by KRL, selling "channels" for advertisers. The project was quickly abandoned as it made significantly less than the PPC setup from fabulous.com that webfather usually applies to his domains.

Recently, as you will undoubtedly have noticed, KRL has started trying to sell domains for webfather. An example is booty.com.

All I want to make clear is that KRL doesn't own any of these domains. I don't understand why people at GFY copy each other like sheep. Again, KRL doesn't own any of these domains, he works as a salesman for the guy who does (webfather).

The same may be true for men.com. KRL doesn't own men.com, no sale or transaction has taken place. Actually, there isn't even a reason to think so at all. If there is any, please post it :-)

The whole sale wasn't more than a marketing stunt.

At least this thread has more substance than the dozen or so you started earlier. While its none of my business what KRL owns, sells, buys or operates, I prefer to judge his character based on my experiences with him and his personality rather than various assumptions you've made. While you may or may not be correct, to me, its not important.

GFY is just that, an internet board. Characters get judged by the way they act here. People judge me for being gay while obviously I'm not. Do I care? I don't think so. It's all part of the same phenomenon.

I've done a number of deals with Rick.

I broker domains for my own portfolio and for Ricks and for other owners as well.

I'm a member of Rick's private board that has most all of the top domain owners on the planet in there.

Men.com was acquired for $1.32 Million. And that included DirtyJokes.com which our company sold this year for a nice profit.

Beyond that dude you need to see a shrink.

Judging by this thread... he is frustrated by the fact that KRL is not successful, yet everyone thinks he is.

This is similar to AMP, his frustration towards Lensman was due to the followers of this board believing Lensman is some sort of "porn lord", which he is not.

I just don't get people who are all over Free Speech but they piss all over themsleves if someone lives their life different than they want them too. I've had successes and failures in business. Anyone who tells you every business they've ever had has been a success IS full of it. And in most cases, when one of my ideas or investments doesn't work I figure a way to salvage some of my loss on it.
