Cell phone company faceoff!! Are they all fucking scammers?
I am currently with verizon and am fed up. Are all these companies fucking scammers or what?!? I looked at my bill online today, $406. WTF! Its very interesting if you compare the times I have upgraded my plan to my usage. Back in June, I only used 700 minutes, so I upgraded to the 900 min plan. Now they are claiming I have used 1400 min and 2100 txt messages (sent & recieved). An extra $155.00 in text overages.. Are you fucking kidding me?!? I'm telling these fuckers go fuck yourself..
Okay, is there any satisfied customers out there? People that pay the same rate, every single month, so bullshit hidden charges! FUCK VERIZON!!! :321GFY |
Fuck all the cell phone companies there all scam artists.
|
I hate cellphone companies... they can just add mninutes and how would you know they aren't scamming you?
also, talk 1 minute and 1 second and be charged for 2 minutes 1 minute here, 1 minute there, makes over 1000 minutes a month, getting charged 200$ extra a month, every month my cellphone bills always piss me off |
Cell phones are like gas. No matter how much people complain about the prices, they don't seem to ever change their usage habits. Very interesting.
I only use my phone for traveling, so my bill is always the same. |
american carriers suck..
u should see some places in asia where they fight for customers with really competitive pricing. usa has the old infrastructure.. so ur gonna get crap and take it coz u sign contracts for crappy phones. |
what you have to do is go with a company like Cingular and get a LOT of minutes per month on your plan.
My plan is 2000 anytime minutes with unlimited nights/weekends and what's most important, ROLLOVER MINUTES... Then what you do is for the first couple of months, talk as little as possible during the day and build up a lot of rollover minutes..My first month, I was able to keep my anytime minutes to around 1000 minutes but I talked 2,500 minutes during nights/weekends... Now this month, I get my 2000 minutes with another 1000 minutes of rollover...I'll talk sparingly for another month or two and by then I'll have so many rollover minutes built up, I can't possibly talk long enough to use them all up. |
My bill is the same with verizon every month (within $10)

Verizon is usually pretty understanding the first time around. Call up customer service, complain. Tell them you were unaware and that you usually never go over, play dumb.
Ask to talk to a supervisor. Tell them when you signed up the Agent/Rep didn't properly inform you of charges (you won't get them in trouble) If that fails go to the place where you bought your phone and complain, they are usually more than willing to call Customer Service for you and usually have a little more pull. You will get more co-operative reps at independant retailers (not Radio Shack) than you will at Corporate stores. Some of my family members are on Verizon and I have done this for them many times. Good Luck |

t mobile is pretty good!
|
holy shit lol. I pay $40, and thinking of dropping down to the $30/month plan.
|
Fuck cell companies and all their female cute employers
|
Fuck Sprint :321GFY
|
sure west has unlimited everything, but isn't as advanced as other companies.
my celly bill is always the same. always. |
Sprint has unlimited.
Verizon used to be awesome but T-Mobile kicked their ass in customer service and has been taking home the JD Power awards for CS. So far I don't have an issue with T-Mobile, aside from the old moto phones they gave away when I signed up. But they gave me a great deal on upgrading. good company good value |
my cell phone bill used to be $250'ish every month until i called them about upgrading my phone, the woman took a look at my plan and said "ma'am, you have a large phone bill...if you change your plan to [insert plan name here], we'll just charge you $5 for every 100 minutes you go over instead of $0.30 a min."
since then, my cell phone is back down to $120 :thumbsup but they raped me with charges for about a year :disgust edit: oh ya, this is Sprint btw lol |
My cell bills are always what I expect. No offense, But it doesn't take a genius to figure out how to work a phone. I'd expect comments like your's from a highschool girl using daddy's phone trying to explain this month's bill.
Come on people, learn some responsibility. :2 cents: |
Sprint is fucked up. The original phone numbers of all incoming calls don't show up on my bill ever- how do I differentiate between business calls & non-biz for expenses? And then you get a crazy ass client who calls every second during the day. I had to show one of them a $350 bill and explain to her, this is mainly YOU girl.
