Fulltime Programmer and Designer Required
 
Programming Position

LOCAL APPLICANTS ONLY, THIS IS AN IN-HOUSE POSITION, NO TELECOMMUTING. You must live in the LA/Ventura areas. No relocation assistance offered.

This is an intermediate, full-time programmer position. In addition to the programming skills mentioned below, the candidate should have strong database design skills and some knowledge of Linux system administration and networking.

Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive salary, medical, paid vacation, 401K and more.

Candidate for this position must have:

? Strong web development skills and demonstrated proficiency in PHP, MySQL, Javascript, DHTML, Shell and Apache in a Linux environment.

? Familiarity with XHTML, CSS, Perl, Flash/Action scripting, Photoshop and some design background are a plus.

? Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a desire to work in a challenging position.

? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

? Ability to work on multiple projects is essential.

? Must have been the sole or lead developer of at least three major projects.

? Ability to provide business systems analysis. Must be able to Understand and define technical requirements with a long-term strategic outlook.


Can-do attitude; Organized; Detail-oriented; Independent, yet team-player; Flexible; Open to new ideas and ways of doing business.


Some overtime and weekends required. This doesn?t happen often but must be available without notice when situations arise.

Designer Position

We have an immediate opening for a junior Web Designer. In addition to the graphic design skills mentioned below, some programming knowledge would be a plus.


Candidate for this position must have:

- HTML Editing (without WYSIWYG editors) is a must.

- Working knowledge of GIF Animation, JavaScript, and CSS.

- Ability to understand/edit PHP is a plus.

- Must be able to design/edit with website functionality in mind.

- A working knowledge of advanced CSS techniques and compliant XHTML is a major plus.

- Strong web design skills and demonstrated proficiency in Photoshop, Flash/Action Scripting.

- Experience in designing paysites, banners, marketing materials, and hosted galleries is desired.

- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a desire to work in a challenging position.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work on multiple projects is essential.

Hmmm...I fit the bill except I live in Houston but i am not a "Junior Designer." I have worked inhouse for AEBN and now a software company. If you would entertain relocation and a 6-figure salary to match my current salary, I might be interested in sharing more :thumbsup
