Things i love about the US that we dont have
 

A decent stripclub. I love stripclubs. Believe it or not there are no real stripclubs over here. Well at least not in Amsterdam and i dont think anywhere in Holland. Just a few sleazy places for drunk english tourist with ugly chicks.

Diners. I love em :)

Hot chicks going crazy at Mardi Gras and Springbreak and stuff like that.
Girls in Holland dont do that. We dont have parties like that.

Living in Tampa, there's lots of great strip clubs and as far as crazy public activities....
Tampa is insane with that too! We have Guavaween coming up, which is at the end of October and everone dresses up and girls flash for beads. We also have Gasparilla in January, which once again girls feel free to show there titts for beads! Ahhhh, it is a beautiful country! :thumbsup Girls are not this....um.....free and easy in New Zealand. LOL

I am in mexico, and we have the BEST strip clubs. The women are HOT as hell, and the private dances go from the chair to the bed if you would like. Of course the bed costs a bit more, but you can get laid for about 100$ It will cost you about 250 to 300 for an escort in Cali. The beer is cheep, starting at about 99cents and up to about 4 bucks in some of the nicer bars.

What I miss about florida is Fantasy Fest in Key west. Take Gasparilla and Guavaween and mix them together, and you have half of fantasy fest!

That and portion size. When I've traveled to other countries, it is a shock to see smaller portion sizes. We sit in the US complaining about carbs and such, but people in Asia and Europe consume a lot of carbs and don't have our problem.

The US is a supersized country, and everything needs to be bigger than the next guy.

Mardi Gras will happen this year, you can bet on it. They will rebuild and fix the areas that bring in money and have money first.

I've never been to a strip club in Mexico - i had no idea what i was missing! damn...

Weve got vanilla coke. And free refills at Subways. Still diners arent the same true, I miss the thermos on the table and waitresses :)

Some things they miss out on in europe:

1 The customer is king attitude
2 Decent Candy (twinkies, reeses, suzie q's etc)
3 sorta related to 1: 24/7 stores.. its virtually impossible even in big cities
to get a decent meal after 10pm

I totally agree. I have done both Guavaween and Gasparilla a couple times each and have enjoyed the hell out of both. I have been going down to FantasyFest for 11 straight years, and that one for me takes the cake. Course we do it on a boat so that certainly makes a difference.

I dont mind we havent got the - hey loser youre doing 1.99/hr so can I fuck you over - attitude here. Although its getting there. And we got candy too. The american ones too in most stores. Plus not being able to go shopping at 3am doesnt bother me. Not being able to eat a meal at 10pm isnt because our restaurants are a bit different then yours. I can get a burger at 3am here, I cant get a 5 course 3 michelin star meal at 3am no. Why would I.

Customer is king you won't find since here customer service has no effect
on the wages....hell even in a lot of places they're not even allowed to keep
the tips. You will find a few places with excellent service....usual smaller
places and not in the city center.....you have to know them to find them
though.

Haarlem is a city where they have quite a good and big selection with good
restaurants and service.

in my experience mardi gras will never be washed away. i live in california and we have special mardi gras parties every once in a while. just because we love to see titties i guess. hell lately we don't even have a name for our mardi gras parties we just have girls running around with they're titties out. :)

Springbreak stuff is starting to rise here aswell.....bloemendaal, zandvoort en
scheveningen.... If you like stand up comedy...there's a boom chicago in
Amsterdam which is pretty funny (english). There are street festivals that
are a bit similar to Mardi Grass events aswell.... :winkwink:

Rotterdam has a Latin Street Carnival festival which is pretty good for all
you latin lovers

The Netherlands needs 24hour convenience stores like 7-Eleven. I don't know why it doesn't really have anything like that.

We have nightshops...which are a bit similar....apart from petrol stations that
have shops like supermarkets nowadays. One of the best 24 shop is located
near stadionplein....they offer excellent meals and catering stuff aswell.

The biggest reason why there are not too many is legislation....we have limited
opening hours for a lot shops and stores...they should get rid of that soon!

Those places are nothing like the American stripclubs im talking about. The places you mentioned are sex clubs, tourist clubs and shit like that. Dutchie dont go there.

Blue Bell, Teasers and La vie en Rost (Not La Vie en Rose) are stripclubs
not sexclubs.....last time I checked my passport...it said I was dutch...
and I have been to US strip clubs......even got banned from 1 in Vegas :1orglaugh
