What are you eating?
 

I'm currently eating an omlette made with ham, Roma tomatoes, mushrooms, bell peppers and edam cheese. On the side I'm having Pinto, a local dish made with black beans, rice, Salsa Lizano (Kind of like L&P), peppers and onions. Topped off with a glass of milk and a cup of coffee. Mmmm Dinner at 7PM. :thumbsup

Now that fall is here I am more into the rib sticking style meals.
Tonight is beef stew.
Nice chunks of chuck cubbed and browned, then in a nice thick broth with pearl onions, carrots, potatoes, celery, button mushrooms, and turnips.
With some home made buttermilk biscuits, butter and local honey on side.
Then a few large glasses of cold whole milk in a frosty cold mug.

why the protein shake?

The beer kind of ruins the point...

Vegemite is great! I dont understand how people can hate it..

It really must be an aquired test. I've never met an Aussie that didn't like it, and I've never met anyone else that does. :2 cents:

People hate weird things. I personally can not stand eggplant well at least the normal type, japanese eggplant is ok. Now the kicker is I do not mind the taste, though I have a revoltion to it because of nothing more than the ripe skin color and shape. The second I find out something has eggplant in it I can not finish it even if it tastes great. The strange image comes into my head and just kills my appetite.

I'm eating nosecandy. I discovered a goldmine up there and a small southern hemisphere nation could feast for a month on the discovery. :)

lol thats true every Aussie loves it... its great with toasted cheese like instead of butter you use Vegemite, or in a sandwich with lettuce...;)

Cause I think non-aussie's don't know you only put the barest sliver of it on stuff. They end up putting it on like peanut butter or something. Vegemite should be spread like blood on a grazed knee... 50% coverage... Like you put more butter on it than vegemite.

There's a new sushi place called "Sushi Itto" in San Rafael. If you were to head towards Multi Plaza from El Cruce, go passed the Plaza Colonial and continue until right passed the Banco San Jose and Farmcia Fischel. It's on the left and it's amazing. :thumbsup

Hurricane Rita came through the area and all the biz is closed, it sucks too because I wanted McDonald's and even MICKEY D's is f'ing closed. I don't think I've ever seen McDonald's closed for more than a day before. It blows. And get this, we even have a 7pm until 7 am curfew until further notice. Funny.

Just the smallest splash of milk. Also add Tobasco sauce and a dash of L&P, salt and pepper. :)
