starting to hate this dreamweaver8 with a passion
 

i made a page with this cheap $25 wysiwyg, then later i acquired dreamweaver 8 & finished it up with dreamweaver & everything is fine. but, now that i want to make changes, the fucker has a mind of it's own & s not doing what it is told to do. i go to insert an image & it places it at the top right corner, so i go to drag the image to where i want it to go & it just dont fucking want to go there & fucking damn layers & you cant insert shit on top of the layers fucking piece of shit... so i never saved it as a template or document file for the $25 editor so imported it to the $25 editor & it does not come up the same as how it is online & this fucking pisses me off cuz it will just be a whole lot of friggen work to update a single page when all i want to do is add a friggen banner ad & a couple of links & these fucking goddamned layers that dreamfucker sucks & makes into shit. so, my question is this.. i need a wysiwyg editor capable of importing my entire site into a single folder & be able to make changes by inserting & dragging & dropping without the damn editor getting fucking confused about all the layers & css & not making whatever changes it friggen feels like.. i'd like to insert a banner, drag it over the layers & drop it where it's gonna stay & be done with it...fucking dreamweavers getting uninstalled friggen $500 piece of shit that is a waste of disk space if you ask me

I use Notepad2 for all of my editting needs. It's a small, fast and free text editor with syntax highlighting for HTML and other common languages. Love the syntax highlighting..

Btw, I have Dreamweaver MX 2004. Never had a problem with it, and I've never used 8.

have you ever harcoded interlaced DHTML layers by hand. those position coordinates are a bitch to remember. i'm not talking about some simple html page.

By the way, i do & can edit code by hand via notepad. the code itself is what got me to become a webmaster in the first place.. back in 1997 i became fascinated with html & code & then begun learning, i can code pages by hand, but who wants to unless your building a simple small html page
