Fizzgig assaulted by her friend's husband...
During the course of an evening at her friend's house yesterday evening, my wife was repeatedly called a whore, seemingly for RESISTING sexual advances which friend's husband had made in the past. He's always been an asshole during her visits but this time he's gone too far.
This guy, Ken is his name, took offense at some statement of my wife's and shoved her against the wall. (All parties had been drinking, but fuck it, if you're a mean drunk then don't drink!) She slugged him and left, then turned back to say something (no one remembers what it was) and he jumped her, knocking her backwards onto the kitchen table and smashing it, and pinning her to the floor. She got in a few good punches, according to her friend; apparently he didn't go so far as to punch her back but was definitely threatening her with a fist. The police picked him up outside his apartment, where he'd climbed out the window when he heard they were coming (and I was coming, all this occured while I was in transit to pick up my wife), and held him for a few hours. The police are not pressing charges. They claim there "isn't enough evidence". There's enough evidence for me. By the way, she's in a lot of pain right now. She passed some blood in her urine but refuses to see a doctor at this point. I also can't leave her alone until I'm sure she has no serious internal injuries.

It seems your police department is pretty messed up. With all that damage to her, there is no reason he should not be charged. Did your wife say she wanted to press charges? I'm fairly certain that they have to and that the job to drop them is up to the DA. Going through the police is the best method.
My second method would be vigilante justice. If someone fucked with someone I loved like that, the police would be the least of this guys worries. I'd put him an inch from his life. |

Hey Dag, I am so sorry to read what happened to Fizz :( I can appreciate why you would want to pay him back. He sounds like a loose cannon, so i would just be leery opening a grudge match where he might then want to pay you back and so on. Either way, becareful. Is the wife going to leave this wretched wrath of man? Does he abuse her regularly? Hope she can get out with the kids. If Fizz is seeing blood she really should see a doctor. Anyway , a good long baseball bat or golf club might give you enough distance not to get sprayed by blood while you break a couple of ribs. Wear a surgical mask anyway. |

get a long piece of wire, , go to a hobby shop and ask for rocket engine ignitors ( they are cheap like $2 ) get a multipurpose screwdriver..
Attach the ignitors to the wire , unscrew the tail brake-light of this guys car smash the bulb and attach the wires to the piece of wire you have with the ignitor at the opposite end. Open his gas tank and insert the ignitor into the tank , replace the taillight cover and tape the wire to the car body so it can't be seen. When the person who owns the car hits his brakes * KABOOM If you want to be polite , simply attach a firecracker on the ignitor and cut the wire leading to the gas tank , and leave a message ( "next time the wires will be connected and no firecracker :) ") DISCLAIMER. this post is for educational purposes only, any attempt to make such a device could cause fatal injury . |

I have my own set of rules when someone attacks my family or loved ones. If the police won't intervene, I'd take things into my own hands, especially if its to my immediate family. I'm sorry this happened to your wife, but don't let the police's lack of a legitimate response get you down. Keep trying the legal angle (witnesses?) and if that fails, then I would definitely make this a personal matter to settle the score.

Sounds a little weak compared to the meaty thump of a golf club, but they can't arrest you for voodoo last I heard. Maybe I can pick up some road-kill to slip under his carseat too. I saw a cat on the highway yesterday; should be just about ripe by now.
