Epassporte account holder please try this
 
Can someone with an epassporte account reset their password and then login with the new password sent in the email.
Reset it with the "forgot password link".

Either my computer is wacked or something isn't working.
I tried it three times with no luck.

Why wouldn't it work? It most likely is just something I did wrong.

PS: It if doesn't work the first time surley you can just do it again.

I once reset my password and couldn't login. It was a problem on their end. A five minute phone call to them fixed it.

Who did you call?

I called the number listed and they rest my password twice but that didn't work and they think it's something on my end.

You're right, something is fucked, i had to call to get them to resend the password to my email, you change the password...it wont work.

Not sure what the issue is.

every time i have changed a password, i have had to phone in to get it sorted out...

Thanks for having the guts to help me test this. I wish the folks at epassporte had that much guts so you didn't have to do this for me.

Well, you answered the major question for me and that was "can I rely on epassporte?"...I guess I'd be stupid to do that since they did nothing to fix my account so I could log in and I called and spoke to someone 3 times.

I'll try it once more just for the hell of it.

The problem here is simple Shemp; when we call them they don't believe we really have a problem and therefore never fix it. They think we are stupid and just reset it to make us happy.

i just recently had an interesting case with a renewal card. i got my new card in early July as the original card expired at the end of July. Epassporte cut my old card off when the new one was mailed, but my new card couldnt be activated until Aug 1st, even though i phoned them with all the details...
as you said, the CS person never really listens to the problems and documents them for resolution, they just reset the password and move onto the next call. For the most part the system works well, but they do have annoying glitches that need to be addressed.

This also happened for me and lasted for 3 days... It's working now.

You can try contacting Epass Customer Support at [email protected] on this issue, they could help you... ;)
