Reasons please...

neither. why only a choice between the two?

going to Australia, making a stop off on the way. Those are the two I am interested in seeing. I want to pick up a bunch of cheap crap too.

singapore+bangkok, take a train from singapore thru malaysia. Could be a nice experience.

Although I presume all the big cities are somewhat alike. If you want something different, try a smaller town.

It's my dream to travel around the world but I want to go first to Rome, Italy :)

basically just want to have a fun time, and stock up on clothing/electronics :)

are things as cheap as I've been hearing?
