Am i th eonly one noticed that google now ranks adult sites with less PR, doesnt pay much attention to Dmoz and other listings,many sex search terms ends with .edu domains or newspaper sites ?
Are they going to turn something like overture for all porn related search terms ?

Dmoz is still corrupt, I have submitted several clean sites, cyberage, adultcheck, fnp avs other sites without banners, just entrance/ and validation pages, not even a single listing, haven't got one, since about 1 year ago

Probably google is just figuring that out for itself

I wouldn't be suprized to see google do an unannounced drop dmoz entirely pretty soon. Its too bad a good idea got screwed up by a few greedy webmasters

when i posted dmoz-editores were morons, i made a bunch of webmasters very angry (at the fnp board) - but it is a fact that none of my sites ever got listed.

Yeah it's true, google has updated... and dropped a helluva lot of directory inserted sites

there are sooo many valid reason why none of your sites were listed, besides any conspiracy theory you might have. Not saying that there arent bad editors, just that submitting a site does not guarantee a listing.

... those editors don´t get payed at all, so I think it´s ok to reserve the top spots (or damm it, all of them) for themselfs ... I would do it too !!

That site has been listed for almost 2 years! Heres a thought, maybe the webmaster knew how DMOZ lists sites so created the site with the title its listed under, then changed it once it was listed!

Nope, webmasters arent cheats, never happens....

If you read my original post I didnt say that their werent bad apples at DMOZ, but that its not the only reason a site isnt listed.

But if you want to categorize all editors in the same basket then I guess you might as well go the whole hog and say all adult webmasters are spammers and cheats and that all webmaster programs shave and dont pay.
