I really don't think that's gameplay scene more or less a movie screencap.

That's very cool, even though most of the environment looks amazing cause of the blur effect.
A few latest PC games with all settings maxed out look very similar (to me at least)

I wouldn't get too excited yet. I remember when Madden put out some screenshots for next generation that made me blow a load. They recently put up some videos for the 360 and it doesn't look that great. Screenshots are VERY misleading in video games.

You guys really don't have a clue to how much more advanced the XBOX 360 and PS3 are than the XBOX or PS2. I bet you said the same thing about gameplay pics of PS2 games when the PS2 was new. And XBOX 360 has about 12.5 times the computing power of an XBOX. XBOX 80 gigaflops computing power, XBOX 360 1 TERAflop.

How can you tell anything by that? Someone videotaped people playing a game. I bet if I took a cell phone cam and filmed you watching a movie on a HDTV someome would say "Boy HDTV looks like crap" Well of course under the circumstances under which it was filmed, that would make sense.

I wouldn't go by pics or videos or anything except when it gets to a store and you can actually play it.

If it looks anything like that... I'm sold.

yeah they try to make games so they are fun...

if you just want to drive around and scratch your car you're free to do it anyday with your own car....it's just not as fun as racing..

looks gorgeous, although i'd like to see it in motion. really looking forward to the next gen systems, almost positive i'm goin with the 360 but i might have to pick up the revolution as well. i heard on the revolution u can purchase + download any and every nintendo game ever created for any nintendo system. that's pretty fucking sweet!

why do people care so much about the look about a game... in the end it comes down to the gameplay which makes a game great...

Looks mediocre at best, current Doom 3, BF2, both have better graphics in my opinion.
I mean just look at the anti-aliasing on the car.. it's jagged ffs :(

Comparing a Doom3 to a driving game...Doom3 Engine is limited to say the least and not all that nice, its only nice for in-door small rooms and dark lighting..

BF2 is a resource hog ;)

It is obviously not gameplay. Eeen if realtime looks like that (which t probably does), you cannot play games from cinematic angles. It doesn't work.

I don't think I will get the game even though it looks amazing. If they would go back to the old gameplay instead of racing one on one and stuff like that it would be better. Started going down hill with the underground street racing stuff imo
