Coming to Los Angeles...
 

this is my first time to visit Los Angeles, I'm going to staying in the Van Nuys area. what things are there to do and what should I check out? Also, any tour guide services over there? Preferably a hot, female tour guide!

van nuys has an airport and a fatburger - have fun!

Well, you can get to Universal Studios pretty quick. Might interest you if you have never been.

There isnt much to do in Van nuys. Drive to the beach. You might want to check out santa monica peer and the venice boardwalk. Hollywood and Melrose are overrated, but if you havent seen them, you might want to check them out.

Certain freeways (the 5, 10, 101, 15) get really congested with traffic during certain hours every day, so keep that in mind.

Van Nuys = Ghetto. ( well some parts)

There is nothing there from a tourist point of view. I lived there a few years back, there aren't any acutally hang out spots unless you are a local.

You need to get to Hollywood/Santa Monica area if you are looking for nightlife and things to do.

Your first question after arriving is going to be the same as mine was when I read this thread . . . why Van Nuys?
