X-Cart for Egoods anyone using it?

XCart has its shortcomings. Volusion is not as pretty and is more $, but it seems to work a bit better off the shelf. If you get XCart, expect some customizing.

Yes, I use it and set-up as few clients.

Works very well , with little customizing as for the actual " mechanic"...

Looks is up to you with the smarty templates ( not crazy about that ).

BTW, who takes care of your international sales ???

I just finished a site for a seller located in LA...

I have no international sales with the exception of site memberships and whatnot through ccbill

and these goods are all e-delivery so theres no real distribution channel other than the net

But back to e-goods, X-cart works very nicely.

You can also get a script that will interface with your billing gateway, then email the customer with a unique link for download. The link can be set to expire in a certain time and/or after a certain number of downloads attempts. The number of IPès can also be limited.

I use/configured one for use with Paypal ( not good for us ), but I recall that there was one good with authorize.net...
