acutually you do beat dogs.... I have a really good friend that trains the "frisbie" dogs and thats the method he uses and I use it with my pitbull and I have a 1 year old kid here and my dog will leave if my kid goes near his food while he is eating and will not think of even standing up or looking at me wierd cause he knows I will kick the living shit out of it... I used to breed rots and we did that to every one and it trains them the right way... you reward when they are good and kick the living shit out of them when they are bad... when my pit was a puppy I kicked his ass so bad one day he was pissing blood... but let me add he did not piss blood on the carpet cause he knew better

That is the most FUCKED up thing I have ever heard. You do not beat fucking animals to make them learn. My uncle is a K-9 cop and they do not beat their fucking animals in to submission. What on earth is wrong with you? They don't do shit because they are afraid of you because you beat them. There are other ways to train animals and beating them is not a fucking method. That's seriously not cool. Especially with breeds of dogs that need careful training because of their violent capabilities.

If a dog needs serious correction you pull it in its neck and give it a little shake for a lesser correction give i a little spank on his butt. Nothing wrong with that.
(example: you walk on the street and he pics something up like food that he isnt supposed to.. little slap on his butt and he knows he shouldnt
Example 2: he attacks another dog or walk from the street while you told him to wait:
grab him in the next and shake him a bit.. works fine).

Beating a dog or hitting/punching him anywhere else will make him unstable and chances are youll have the opposite effect.

Scared dog = unreliable dog.

So every punishment should be reasonable.. dogs seem to understand that.

Your voice should be the most powerful tool you have in raising your dog: if that doesnt have the desired effect you are not a good dog owner.

and about the beating dogs issue, i am certainly against that. You can spank a dog, but not beat the shit out of it, if the dog has done something wrong. That's reasonable. the master's commanding voice is the most important. Dogs would automatically know if they are being reprimanded or not.
