Must working class support the poor?
 

There are a lot of discussions going on in a lot of different threads. Ultimately it comes down to who is responsible for looking after those that don't look after themselves.

1. Is society responsible for the poor?
2. Do the ones who get of their asses and work for a living have to pay for those that don't?
3. Are poor people who don't pay taxes entitled to the same government services as those that do?

Here's my question: Why should I pay for someone else?s laziness?

I'm not making statements.
I'm simply asking why those who work MUST carry those that don't!

I am also asking the same questions. But I think it really depends if we are really talking about people who are a complete bum or just a victim of some tragic events.
