100,000 lottery tickets or 1,000,000 pennies which..
Would you choose..
The million pennies would be delivered to your front door in a fuckin big skip. Think about security/ Time/ Banking problems.. |
100,000 scratchers.
|
lottery tickets if they are the scratch off variety. I could at least sell those at half price and make more.
|
They arn't scratch cards, the odds of the jackpot are 1:14,000,000

pennies! heh would have to take them to the bank in like 400 seperate trips but still i think it would be better
|
would there any banks that would take a million pennies lol
|
My local bank will only let me take 3 bags at a time. That would mean 333,333 days...
or 913 years to pay the cash in.. |
How did you come up with this question?
I would take a million pennies, checking if you won on 100k lottery tickets wouldn't exactly be that easy either... |

Also consider what you do with the cash. Is their some depot you can take stuff like this to? |
I'd take the 1M pennies, hire 20 people at $7 per hour. Each person would have to roll 1000 rolls of pennies. Assuming each person can complete 250 rolls/8hr day, it would take 4 days to roll all the pennies. The total man hours involved are 20 x 8 x 4 = 640 x$7/hr = $4480 for a net profit of $5520 guaranteed.

Why does everybody say the pennys? It depends on the lottery the tickets are for, but here in Holland you have lots of lotteries where you win 5 euro if you have the right ending number, so that means 5 euro every 10 tickets.
That alone would turn out into 10,000 x 5 = 50,000 euros. Then of course you have the bigger prices for the last 2 numbers, last 3 numbers, last 4 numbers, last 5 numbers. You would win at least 150,000 euros. |
