wha wha wha 09-22-2005 11:14 AM

They are pieces of shit....

xclusive 09-22-2005 11:14 AM

I was going to get one but it's to small in my hands:(

cranki 09-22-2005 11:15 AM

I do. It's great, the only thing that bothers me is that it stores different numbers for same contacts separately... sucks when you got 6 johns with 4 numbers each... besides it's a decent phone... got it in silver, so you don't see the scratches too much ;)

djroof 09-22-2005 11:15 AM

no :( do u have pic?

quiet 09-22-2005 11:16 AM

yeah i bought one about a week ago. i've got the black version. working out quite well so far...

O MARINA 09-22-2005 11:16 AM

You mean like for "John", you can input more than one number for him? ie.. work, home, mobile, pager..

Yeah I had a Motorola Timeport that did that too. I didn't like it either so I made a seperate entry for... eg.. John home, John cell.

The black ones get scratched up easy?

yeah that sucks... they don't get scratched easier than the silver ones, but I tend to drop my mobiles when I'm drunk and white scratches on a black phone would look shitty, so I decided to take the silver one ;)

i got the black one. awesome phone if you need to carry two devices like razr + blackberry. can't wait for the Motorola Q aka RazrBerry to drop though

quiet 09-22-2005 11:24 AM

that's exactly my combo as well - razr + blackberry.

Juicy D. Links 09-22-2005 11:27 AM

I am on my 4th one yo

cranki 09-22-2005 11:28 AM

blackberry's are a chick magnet for colin powell's aides...
"He said some aides appreciated the introduction of BlackBerry e-mail devices because they could impress women at diplomatic parties while pretending to get messages from him.

"It was a great chick magnet," he said to roars of laughter from the audience."

for you too?

SinSational 09-22-2005 11:30 AM

2 of my friends have them. they both think they suck

Evil Chris 09-22-2005 11:30 AM

I'm not so much into the Blackberry. I get enough email as it is.
Razr black is nice though... I guess I'll try it out.

naitirps 09-22-2005 11:34 AM

ive got the new razr from tmobile bout 2-3 weeks ago... absolutely love it... the bluetooth is the shit, putting my own mp3/ring tones on it :) :) :)

im coming from a verizon blackberry 6750... got sick of the big ass phone, hence why i got the razr... even dropped it a couple times and it handles it like a g! def recommend it.

thewebgarage 09-22-2005 11:46 AM

I have trouble talking to my gf and my buddy who both own them. So I question the sound quality

That's weird, cuz my MOTO Timeport had amazing RF. First time I've heard this is an issue with the razr.

it's not, I can assure that. Must be the connection quality...

quiet 09-22-2005 11:51 AM

never had a problem with sound quality at all. in fact, it seems very good.

corvette 09-22-2005 11:59 AM

anyway design is ok I think - I like the black1 better

$hurik 09-22-2005 12:38 PM

i do and i love it

Evil Chris 09-22-2005 12:56 PM

found one for a good price... :)

EroticySteve 09-22-2005 12:57 PM

I chose the Sidekick II over the Razr. I suggest you do the same.

UK1 09-22-2005 01:06 PM

nooo. dont buy that phone man... if you want a real phpne try the sSamsungD500
its got everything you could want and its smaller than the RAZR... it looks too much like a woman's case
or the nokia 8800 .... but you gotta have small fingers for that one or else it can get annoying really fast when you hit buttons you're not meaning to...

Evil Doer 09-22-2005 01:13 PM

I have one, it's a great phone. I use my sidekick for email&web though :)

K R I S T E N 09-22-2005 01:15 PM

i love my little razor! works great anywhere i go...well, almost anywhere

Ycaza 09-22-2005 01:19 PM

i am on my second one since late july, no memory for text messages, bluetooth sucks. If I could charge my phone while i had the headset cabled i would but there is only one input. it should be cool that i can bluetooth the phone into my laptop, but you can't have the headset on and if you move from the laptop and use the headset, you have to delete the phone from the laptop and do it all over again. ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why didn't i get a blackberry or a samsung?

BradM 09-22-2005 01:20 PM

I have one and I personally like it.

3M TA3 09-22-2005 04:21 PM

I just got 5 of them. 3 heavy users and 2 light users. We all love them.

At first I didn't know if I would like dialing the numbers while driving down the road...but I got used to it. I can't put the phone between my sholder and my ear, but I shouldn't be doing that anyway and I have a headset.

I have the T-Mobile version (silver) and international calls and confrence calls are easy and painless. The phone is has crystal clear sound and no one has had a hard time hearing me.

I do not like the way the phone stores the numbers as the previous poster mentioned.

The battery life last about 2 days without worry (we use about 4700 minutes a month each) and the reception is much better than any other T-Mobile phone I have had.

longbrick 09-22-2005 04:32 PM

I got the black one. Very Happy

Probono 09-22-2005 04:41 PM

I ahve one with T-Moble works great, fits in a shirt pocket and the bluetooth intergrates with a Macintosh.

Probono 09-22-2005 04:47 PM

opps, redundancy retracted

nico-t 09-22-2005 05:51 PM

i love the design on that phone, the smaller the better... im thinking of getting one too

i seriously considered the D500 but it was too awkward opening it and it felt very cheap compared to the solid metal feel of the moto.

did i mention the screen on the moto is also one of the best i have ever seen?

plus the ability to connect to the pc and upload notes into it is an awesome feature and takes the place of 90% of my pda needs.

tranza 09-22-2005 06:12 PM

man, i hate motorola, all of them, always gave me some problem ..till now the best cel phone i had was nokia

Evil Chris 09-22-2005 08:47 PM

hmm... I've been shopping around more now and I dunno what to get.

DaddyHalbucks 09-23-2005 06:53 AM

I have a RAZR. It is OK. Battery seems to discharge fast. Frankly, I think it is a bit overrated, but the esthetics/ design is very pleasant.

My favorite is my Treo 300. Great battery time, great PDA features, and very easy to use.

Ace-wtf 09-23-2005 06:55 AM

i heard bad reviews on that gadget

Pete-KT 09-23-2005 06:57 AM

Badass phone, never dropped a call and its tiny

gecko 09-23-2005 10:04 AM

I'm considering on getting a black one myself

realed 09-23-2005 10:17 AM

i have had the black razr for about 2 months now. Great looking phone but battery life is terrible (1 day) if using bluetooth with car phone. I thought it was a battery problem but i bought a new battery and same problem :-(

I love the look but the battery life is a pain in the ass. Also my keypad has broken already. It doesn't light up in the dark anymore.

Before i bought the phone i heard a lot of bad reports about them breaking easily. I guess those reports were right. I still love the look but it's a shame about the build quality and battery life.
