Go listen to local bands. Take a few pics and buy their CD if you think they are good. (no cover bands) Then, upload the good songs on the CD and the pics you took... zip it up and email it to me at least once a month?

Would anyone do that for free?

Kind of, "the cool bands in your area" ..hand picked by you.

I just put them up... you would be like a movie reviewer...kind of.

Having print publication experience in my former life, I'm willing to bet that if you have the site structure already in place and the potential to have a cool/hip high traffic site you will be able to find dependable people that would do this for free in exchange for a small pic with a link and a small bio page. We used to get people nationwide submitting to us and wanting to write for us. A great source for this is college students, especially communications and journalism students that need to build resume's and get real world experience.

Good luck, sounds like a good idea for a site.
