Need help with blog type of software
 

I am looking for software that you can add to a website that allows other people to make post and have people comment on those posts. Does anyone have thing they recommend?

I'm testing http://wordpress.org/ right now, but would like to hear what others have to say.

and if you use mambo, you can set it up so users have their own blogs

Someone told me about http://www.sixapart.com/movabletype/ so I'm checking that out too.

That sites brings up a search portal...

movabletype is very nice, and they have a large community of users to help you with a large forum, thats what i liked about it :)

very customizable coding wise with addons.

XOOPS has some nice plug ins for blog sites.
