why do people kill their whole families before committing suicide?
 

so many people kill their wives and kids before killing themselves, what's up with that?

oh no, I was bypassed for promotion, I'm going to kill myself ..... well while I'm at it, I'm going to kill my wife and kids too, just because I'm a fucking coward

because if they didnt kill their family first, then they still might feel like living

because they don't want to put their family through the pain of losing their loved one..ie father, husband or what have you. That and alot of homicide/suicide cases stem from a cheating spouse, or extreme mental duress.
