I would check Norton's AV site, they have info on pretty much all Virus or Worms going around I believe, I would run Norton on it, and if it said nothing, just trash it and go on. :glugglug

just check yewr reg and other startup options, if you havent allready did so... but other wise ...
id throw my hd away or skan it for a troj. or someother virus dont know what else to tell ya cept for ... 'dont do it again' |
I did both those things.....sooooo.....let's pray it was nuffin :)

I got that in an email today... but WHY do you open and exe that you don't know where it came from anyways? hm
So, I scanned as well, and Norton's upgrade didn't help me much. |
because I was dumb for a moment.......duhhhhh :(
so you didn't find it as a virus or worm then either? |
im not suprised the anti virus software didn't detect anything.....wont really help because the source code is posted for all the virus making fucks to modify ....new "strains" that aren't in the virus definitions pop up everyday. you don't really need anti virus software.. don't open up email attachements for curiosity sake. you should know what the file is, who sent it, and why you are opening it. curiosity smoked my cat and then ate my hard drive. i bet you have a few extra things listed when you ctrl-alt-del :Graucho

You using WinXP? if so you can do something like restoring system files by date.. hmm im not sure how you call this feature in XP but I know is possible, maybe someone else around here knows.
