If you moved from the US, where would you go?

If you were going to move away from the US, where would you go?
I'm looking for a place where the US dollar goes a long way. A place that is safe and everyone speaks English..

Any thoughts?

I was chatting with a web designer who lives in Thailand and he sure seems to enjoy himself...

I might look into it. At least for a few years.

I lived in Krakow for about a year around 2002 and loved it. I don't see actually moving back, but the thought pops up every once in awhile. :)

I really don't know I'd have to say Germany. Its the one country I have always wanted to visit. Maybe Greece.

For those of you who say Thailand remember the old saying..."The prettiest woman in Thailand, isn't a woman!"

Go to London - it's the best city on the whole wide world. I have also lived in exUSSR - Moscow and Odessa are marvellous... nice women, cheap drinks. But nothing compares to London! NOTHING!!!

London is one of the most expensive cities in the world. Nothing better than paying $250 US for a pair of Diesel pants.

I agree, but you always have to pay the price, don't you think? :winkwink: You can get a pair of Diesel pants for 3 USD in Tambov (Russia) and you can eat a full stomach for 1 USD per day in this city, but Tambov is never your dream city, believe me :1orglaugh
London has this special taste, this special scent in the air. Especially on nights. I shall pay extra 50 USD for these f*** pants just to be in London! Wanna die here :1orglaugh

Singapore or New Zealand would fit your description, although the US dollar doesn't go a long way anywhere like it used to.
