LAWYER Question What do you guys think about this
 

This is coming from a friend.

we filled an injunction against somebody okay...we had the injunction dismissed because we are moving and we dont need it. the defendant hired a lawyer and now since the case was dismissed his lawyer wants $750 for 3 hrs of research he was doing for this case. now the lawyer calls us tonight saying that he wants us to pay it.... can he do that?
