He will be fine, Eman and I were behind the camera ready to spot him. We know the correct form, it was just a little bit too much weight for his first attempt.

you gotta be kidding me!!!! this guy is going to get hurt. i can rep out 500 pounds so i am not just talking shit. this guy is going to the hospital - you can't lift with your spine and there is no such thing as spotting someone on deadlift.

and if you can watch this video and say "i know the correct form" - then you are truly a train wreck waiting to happen and its just a matter of time. this guy is lucky he can walk right now.

Iam his trainer, I have 2.5 years in the training field. Yes you need 3 years to be "qualified" but I believe my methods are working more quickly for my client (David)

From the title of the thread, "Deadlifting 300 lbs for the First Time", I was half expecting something like Sleazy rolling out of bed and stepping on a scale that showed his weight as 300 lbs. <BOING> :1orglaugh

Still got a kick out of David PG using that iron to try and get a nut.

I used to see people do all sorts of stupid crap at the gym and saw a lot of injury. The worst I think I saw was someone that got their hand caught at the wrong end of a weight stack. Lots of missing fingers.
