Anybody own a new Dodge Charger?
 

I saw one on the street the other day and it really caught my eye. My fiance needs a car and since I have a 2 seater with the 350Z, I need something a little larger and less powerful. If it were for me, I'd give the SRT a shot, but I think the base model with 250HP and 250 lbs torque is plenty.

What do you guys think? Is it worth it to upgrade to the 350HP from 250 (22k vs. 26k)? Is the car worth it for the price? Edmunds ratings have the car as rated much better than the mustangs, comfortable and smooth.

My other choice is the G35 Sedan, the 325i or the C240. What would you choose?

Shit... She's just now starting to drive, but I taught her in my Avalanche and she's driven the Z... Between the 2, she thought the larger car was the easiest. I just worry about the power.

A local guy has the Daytona SRT. Looks pretty cool to me. Sounds awesome when he hammers on it.

fuck new chargers, get an old one, 67-69 with a 383 and a credit account at a tire store.

I own a 69 Charger.

Those new ones should not have the Charger name on them, a real Charger only has 2 doors.

My buddy just bought one with the v6, put on a new exhaust and chip and now it puts out 300hp. Its a nice riding car, very powerful and looks awesome. We took it dow to go white water rafting in West Virginia and every place we stopped with it people were asking quaetions and staring at it. Its a sweet car, i was thinking about getting one myself

The Dodge looks cool now. It will be total crap in 10 years. Get the C230K and you'll have a car for the next 20 if you so choose.

I get the C230K as a loaner when mine is in for scheduled maintenence. I have to say that i was pissed they don't give me a CLS to borrow.

BMW is okay, they change their designs so radically and so often that an older BMW usually looks like dogshit.

Mercedes gets my vote, but i'm biased
