After Rita tears up the Texas coast gas prices will go way up and so will gold prices. I saw a guy today cashing in 30k worth of gold. $468 a ounce today, 6 months ago $425. When it hits $500 will you sell? I'm getting ancy about this myself, I mean I feel sorry for what Rita will do in the next few days but at the same time I gotta sell when I feel gold has reached it's high.

Gas will never go over $4. The government will make sure of that. Down $0.50 since the whole New Orleans disaster. Might go up another $0.50...but not to $4.

Cnn already made that analysis hours ago, those are their predictions. between 3.75-5.00 a gallon.

I was not aware of that. I just turned the tv on a hour ago on the weather chanel. Seeing the storms track and then remembering seeing that guy cash out 30 grand of gold today just sort of clicked in my head. I am seriously contemplating buying a lot of gold tomorrow. It closed at 469 today, highest in 17 years. I think it will hit $550 if not $600.

Actually crude oil prices will go down.

The problem is a big shutdown in refineries. This will create a shortage in gasoline, and drive up the price.

But demand for crude will drop.

Gold is up to 472.20 on asian markets, you know US markets will follow when they open, I predict a $5 to $10 increase tomorrow.

Gas is $6/gallon over here in Sweden already. It's expected to go a lot higher.

Well I did the smart thing and went and bought me a Lincoln Navigator last week.

Fuck. Well at least you can get a fill up at Sam's Club for 10-15 cents cheaper per gallon than the local gas stations.
