If you had to pick, which one would you go with- and why?

Take both of course...
We have ccbill in first line and then epoch, ccbill works in much safer way I think.
So if you plan for a long term biz I would pick them first, thought I can say nothing bad about epoch...

Ccbill allows webmaster affiliates to merge accounts and thus they can get paid from 5 differrent sponsors when actually they haven't met what would be the minimum payout under any of the 5 separate epoch accounts.
This means you may get more affiliates to use your hosted galleries etc...

CCbill has better affiliate stats which show actual check amounts and dates. Affiliates only have to log in one to see stats for all their ccbill sites.

If you don't have your own merchant account then you should go with ccbill only.

If you don't want to pay the VISA fee to ccbill then use Verotel(tickets club)
Verotel does not have a webmaster referral payout setup for affiliates; but ccbill and epoch do.

Both, and MPA3, NATS or ExecutiveStats.
EpochEU looks like it is going to do very good for us, just had it set up a couple days ago.

I've gone both and working beautifully.

Wouldn't touch Verotel with a 10 foot pole.

CCBill, has worked great for us, for the reasons blackmonsters stated and much more. I give it a :thumbsup all the way.
Can't comment on Epoch as I haven't tried them because I'm so happy with CCBill.
