Fucking Telemarketers
 

When I was younger I was a telemarketer, so I understand. Anyway...

I just got into a fight with this one guy. I've got a unlisted # and I got a call from an automated dialer... meaning, millions of homes are auto dialed and this guy comes on with a auto message, then you get connected to a live person. Isn't this shit illegal? Fucking piece of shit, If I didn't loose my cool, I wouldn't have calmed down to get the co's name.

I did a lot of telemarketing myself back in the days but those predictive dialers with messages get on my nerves as well

I love that a lot of outbound call centers are coming out of India now.

I had one mortgage salesman on the phone for almost 90 minutes.

I had two friends come over to witness the hillarity.

I used Soundboards from ebaumsworld to talk to the guy. He wouldn't hang up. It was classic. I should have recorded it.

fuck with them...put themon hold..or start reading them quotes from the bible

I did telemarketing years ago but we never had that auto message. We really talk to the person live so we can make a better explanation.

Just say you have something on the stove and will be right back and leave them hanging

Start hitting on them. If its a woman, ask how big her breasts are. Does she like men that are tall and hairy. Dont get overly rude, but hit in her. Even better if its a man. they hang up faster.

yup, hang up or just put em on hold and put the phone down on the counter. Also put yourself on the gov't 'do not call' list. I haven't received one telemarketer call since doing that.
