Casting new male talent - now I seen it all (again)
 

Why do things in this industry surprise me? (rehtorical question - no comment needed)

I've been running ads looking for New Male talent. (Black men)
You would think they would be lined up around the block. But instead I only receive 1 or 2 calls each day.

And tonight I agreed to do an interview of two different guys.

Wow!

Both were into it until I asked them to take their clothes off. It was like pulling teeth. They argued with me, told me to book them for the film first, they would get naked if I did, etc etc etc.

End result.
I told them to get out and not waste my time.

I have never seen MEN refuse to take their clothes off when given a chance to be in the porn industry.

You're lucky they did not cap you.

wow, we ran ads for WOMEN in the atlanta paper and got twice as many men responding than women

Next time have a girl there with you !

Getting naked in front of a guy will make them feel gay and maybe they get afraid that you would also wan't a test run :1orglaugh

..And stop looking at them with those hungry eyes, and tounge hanging out of your mouth.. that really won't be helpfull eigther :2 cents:

There was a guy posting here eariler about work. Some black dude with a dong the size of my arm.

So I guess the vagina and breasts on my body don't make me a woman.
I was the one with the camera.
I was the one doing the talking.

And I didn't even ask them to give me some wood. Just the body shot.

Well, average size will do for our projects.

But I can't stress just how damn difficult it is to find talent in France. I know everyone says just how sexually liberated Europe is. Well, France is the exception to the rule.

The true French may not be as vocal as a southern baptist convention in Augusta Georgia. But they can have sexual attitudes that are far more conservative.

I'm not too certain how the actual French pornographers manage to pull it off. However, there are 4 of us (non French and non true-French) pornographers living here that film in Russia and the Czech. On any given month, any one of us, creates 3Xs the number of films that they do collectively.

We would love to not have to travel, do it all in France and avoid the problems with airplanes, agents, etc. But it is just too damn difficult to work with the French.

And I won't even attempt to go into an explanation about the problems with French bureaucracy and paperwork. Suffice it to say, France is the only nation on earth where you can't throw large sums of money at a problem and have it dissappear.

All of this really makes my job difficult. If it wasn't for the fact that I am doing a small project for the Internet. I would just book a flight to Montreal and find new black-male talent there.
