What TGP software would you like our program to be compatible with? What is everyone using?

Better yet, make it flexible for all programs now and in the future...

Let people choose what fields they want to export, what order they want them in, what field delimeter to use, and how they want the output displayed.

btw, it doesn't really matter with Comus as it's now flexible on the import :winkwink:

Most real tgp scripts will accept hosted galleries in basically any order and with any seperator, (you tell it what to use for a seperator and what the variable is between the seperators), but there are some that require it in a certain order with certain seperators, so configurable export scripts are nice and there are many programs using them already.

Things lists of hosted galleries should have:
1) the gallery url
2) gallery description
3) # of pics / movies
4) type (pics / movies)

common seperators - tab, pipe, comma

I suggest leaving out punctuation on gallery descriptions because some scripts butcher certain characters and commas can be treated as seperators.

Anyhell, formats I personally use:

#of pics/movies|gallery url|description
gallery url,description,# of pics/movies
gallery url|description|#of pics/movies|gallery type (pics or movies)

Yes we definitly need to do it again.

Offer galleries with descriptions. also what annoys many webmasters are the stupid watermarks on top of movies.. to be honnest i always delete those as i do not want my scrip's auto cropper to crop thumbs with ugly watermarks..

Anyway. i use Smartthumbs 5.. great script and can import lists with delimited fielts.

Comus is my top choice! :)

get something coded, what they all want is a txt export thats 200% adjustable, so not just the names and urls, but also a ',' as seperation or 'X' or whatever
