There are no beautiful American cities compared to Europe

Maybe New York pre-real estate boom, now all that gets built are ugly glass steel things and low income housing.

DC maybe, parts of it look like Paris.

American cities suffer from excessive traffic, overcrowding and overall generally poor urban planning for growth.

Compared to Paris, Amsterdam, Vienna, Munich, Prague....great mass transportation, beautiful architecture, etc.

As usual Americans do everything second rate.

Huge Cock 09-21-2005 09:04 AM

That's because most of those cities have been around for many many more years than the US has even existed. All we would have is decrepit teepees if they could withstand the time. Apples and oranges but in a way you are right.

I think you forget that American for the most part ARE Europeans. Clown :1orglaugh

TiGrrPrr 09-21-2005 09:05 AM

You need to get around some more in the U.S. and I'd trade the smell of Europeans for Americans anyday. :2 cents: Hooray for super second rated power ? :error

If you think New York is nice...... Try ANY city/town in Norway.
I think New York is the most overrated city in the world.

I live in Paris.
Trust me, with the massive amounts of dogshit around, New York is much nicer.

Same number of drunks, half the dogshit and there aren't 20 people in a grocery store line.

Discovered in 1804 by the germans, they decided to call it "San Diago", which of course in german means "A Whale's Vagina".

Isin't it "Saint Deigo"?

No... no

Yes, I'm pretty sure that's what it means!

Well, agree to disagree.

well this is just my opinion, but most of the beautiful cities I have seen are in Europe, like Florence, Prague, Budapest, Barcelona, Zurich, and Ibiza. In America, I personally liked Vegas, LA, New York, and Miami
