would be 1000% better with proper lighting. don't know why folks post mediocre images to promote themselves.

hint: use bounced strobes, scrim the light to hide complexion flaws, use longer lens (tele zoom) bigger lens opening (lower f/stop) to control DOF and blur out distracting backgrounds, and edit within the camera. use less ambiant light so model's pupils open up for glamour look.

no time to write a book here, but very easy to change poor shots to good shots.

I dont shoot glamour or art crap. I shoot the girl next door. And this is good enough for it. The 2 pics with the red stockings the lighting is bad the others are good enough for what i do.

You need to get her more involved in the pictures. She looks bored. Tell her to practice some facial expressions in front of the mirror. Make her laugh, do something to get her to show some kind of expression into the camera.

Also with some better lighting and some makeup she would look alot better.
