I want to take a vacation, but combine it with a worldwide festival....suggestions?
 

My wife and I wanna take a vacation this next year, but I had the idea of combining it with one of those HUGE festivals

My suggestion was go to England and hit up Glastonbury 2006 at the same time, but as luck would have it, they aren't doing Glastonbury next year

for those that want an idea of what I am referring to, Glastonbury is a HUGE festival they hold in England every year, and take the 5th year off, which has hundreds of artists....last year they had everyone from tori amos, to paul mcartney to workd famous dj's from all over

anyone know of some cool ass festivals of this size happening this coming up year, but also in countries that are great to visit?

Yeah. If you like good beer in vast amounts, hit up Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany. I'm going there next weekend probably. It's the place to get hammered and check out hot Bavarian girls in dirndls!

not true at all, but if yu go to a festival based around drinking mass amounts of beer, it probably won't be the same as say a festival based around music
