Me and my friend alerted Canadian Customs to something important
 

Amateur night at our favorite strip club. We were going through customs and they asked where we were going, and we said "Leropards, its amateur night tonight," they asked us what time it started and how the place was and if they had drink specials and all this shit. It was great, they didn't even hassle us for playing Lamb of God loud in line and having a bunch of candy corn. Canada is cool.

Generally (not always but generally) the American guards hassle the Americans and the Canadian guards hassle the Canadians. At least that's been my experience.

I remember once flying through Houston recently I was remarking to the guy in his little cubicle that even though they now how finger print readers and cameras and what not (not used on Canadians) that everything seemed remarkably smooth. He flat out told me he hassles Americans, not tourists.

I've never had a problem with the border. they just wave you through.
