What would you take to increase confidence/energy?
Im too shy around people and its pissing me off. Sitting at a computer working on sites can do that to you.. it seems every conversation I have is awkward now.
What would you take to increase confidence/energy? Besides weed, alcohol, etc Is there anything better than coffee? |

Seriously, get out and go to the clubs! Meet some people, try to interact, at least dance (you don't have to talk). It really helps me out when I need to get out and unwind. And if I don't want to talk, I just go dance with people. No strings, no serious conversation bullshit. Just having a good time. |

Nothing will help that except to get out and socialize with people. If you don't it'll get worse til you won't ever want to leave the house and you'll have panic attacks when you're around people. When you sit at home all day everyday even if you have a few people come over everyday it's not the same. You need to get out and live life. Remember you do have a life outside of your job and if you don't get one.

what you're describing sounds like social anxiety disorder/social phobia. im sure it can develop due to isolation. you've got two options:
1. try VERY HARD upping your social activities to overcome this 2. talk to your physician and tell him what you're experiencing i had a bud of mine go through this, he went the pharmaceutical way. ps. i really wouldn't recommend weed....that shit will just make you more paranoid. |
and alcohol is a depressant....so no, don't drink, thats a VERY temporary solution...
