I am no longer in pain. Took four months and three days a week at the gym and it's the only thing that's worked for me. |
I have been having problems with my lower back. However, I think the majority of my problem is that I'm too broke to buy a new office chair.
|
Are you sure it's from sitting all day?
Perhaps there's another reason for your back pain. Like your front. |
that is why you HAVE to go to the gym.. if you dont, the same thing that happens to old truck drivers, can happen to you.. they cut off their legs because of almost 0 blood circulation
.. DO IT NOW - before its to late |
since i have started exercising again, my back pains has minimized
|
Hey FB,
I had major major back problems about two years ago. Not due to an injury but it seemed to come out of nowhere. I found it to be stress related as I was dealing with taking care of a very sick parent at the time. Not saying this is a cure all but check out a book by John Sarno called The Mind Body Prescription (or something along those lines). A very interesting read and it has helped many with back issues... Good luck! |
Get ecersise.
A simple walk for about 20 minutes a day or longer should do the trick. |

I too broke my back and my neck. have had nothing but pain ever since. of course the only work they say I can do is sitting at a desk, they don't kow shit I hurt just as much if not more than if I was doing heavy labour. |
never had any problems
|
Back problems neck problems I even have mouse elbow!
|
I work out a minimum of 4 days a week...And I've been getting massages lately.... :(
|
I find getting up every couple of hours and stretching out for about 5-10 minutes helps (also gives me a chance for a smoke break :1orglaugh ) - staying in the same position for long durations can really aggrevate back pain.
Of course, Ron makes a good point, women with large breasts are more likely to have back pain from the weight at the front there. You may find a chiropractor helps you FB, they've worked wonders for me when I've used them. :2 cents: |
I got a rowing machine and try to spend 30 minutes every other day pulling steel.
|
I do many breaks....

I'll leave my wife in my will to you and Chris. |
Exercise and focusing on strengthening your stomach muscles, helps. Strong abs keep your back in line.
|
a good office chair plus exercise does wonders.

you just need to get some fresh air frequently..really
|
At the end of my work, i always grab my electric massage gadget and relax.
|
Maybe it's your posture or your chair?..Try getting up every hour and move around
|
i try to sit up right (i sit indian style 99% of the time, bad habit). i also started doing cardio workouts for 60 mins, 3 times a week..seems to help.
