Brisbane's a laid back, take it easy kind of city. It's short on whores and really exciting nightlife, but it has a great subtropical climate and it is close to the Gold Coast which I think you would like more. Surfers Paradise is a real tourist spot.

If you want nightlife go to Melbourne... If you want whores go to Sydney...

Haven't been there but definitely one of the cities I really want to visit.

I've lived here all my life and love it, but I like warm weather... and a laid back lifestyle.

Brisbane sux - but a little further north on the gold coast you can find many whores. More strip clubs than night clubs and they let you touch their boobies

I went down to the gold coast for a night with some buddies about a month back. Stayed at the Cavill Ave Inn. What a shithole. Haha. But it was still great fun. We didn't even hit the clubs. We just got drunk and high in the room and laughed our asses off. Didn't really see the point of going all the way down the coast to stay locked up in a room, though. But didn't really give a shit at the time, haha.
