Anyone on here use the ad format below for all their Google Adwords?

Whoever it is, they are on just about every adwords i've searched and in the number one spot. They are bidding like $10+ per click on every keyword.

The system may have faults, but this guy is going to get burned...

No, according to what you are saying, he's currently paying 07 cents per click. The max bid is not what he's currently paying. He would pay 50$ per click if the 2nd spot was also bidding 50$ and below.

This is what will happen.

He is bidding like $75 and has the top spot. I am in the second spot and I am bidding $50. You only pay $.01 above the max CPC of the person below you. So if the person below me is $.05, I will pay $.06.

Because I am below him, he will pay $.01 above my max bid. My max bid is $50.

Get it?

There is no average. Nothing averages. You pay above the person below you, that is all.

I thought CTR was a factor also, not just the max CPC. Atleast it used to be like that.

He could be paying $0.05 per click. Rank is determined by CTR x QSA. Just because you bid $50 and are in second place, does NOT mean he is paying $50.01. If his CTR is high and his QSA is high, he can pay LESS then you and still get a better position. If you truely are making money with adwords, you could be making a lot more if you did some research.

In overture, what you say is correct as that system is based PURELY on the amount of the bid to determine rank. However, adwords is not the same, (not even close).

Nah, you are wrong. CTR can't withstand prices of $50 while maintaining ads on porn.

I spoke with several of their people about this. What you are saying is that you could get a high CTR then bid $100 and retain your spot indefinately at a low price.

Doesn't work like that. WHen dollar amounts get that high, your CTR means shit. Either way your costs are going to be ridiculously high.

Once again people, I do this all the time, I know what I am doing. I have knocked this guys ads down from a bunch of stuff and paid liittle to nothing.

Same guy that runs Martinpeak.com. He likes to Hijack peoples listings also. Wouldn't surprise me if this was a scam also.

Yep - he's around here - Ive seen him posting - biggest scammer Ive ever run across - Ive seen him hijack everyone from Greenguy, Tommy, myself and Richard with no qualms whatsoever. Thats why none of the Linklists will take any submissions that have affiliates from the martinpeak cash sites anymore. He also has tried to get a few of the larger TGPs as well but we took him down real quick on that.
I guess Im gonna have to call Google again since they already have at least 5 DMCAs on him that were accepted by them. Let them know who he is.

Not sure about the google adwords thing - as I only see links that go directly to the real paysite - so Im not sure where the poster above came up with the domain registered to NWS - but if you see a domain from these people you can be sure they are scamming somehow - its been that way for a few years now.
