Why is Acacia attempting to bully small time webmasters? Even if I ever did use 'their' technology, the most they could get from royalties would barely pay their rent for a month :1orglaugh

They're trying to intimidate people by sending blind letters using webmaster lists.

They have no clue whether you are or are not using their technology.

Just a shotgun approach hunting for more suckers.

Heave enough shit at a wall and eventually some will stick.
