Search for +mask +photoshop
|
it's all about layers dude. the layer of the pic sould be on top of the layer of the title
|
ok researching masks now..
|
It's done in Quark... not Photoshop... as Quark is the official layout program for magazines.
Those are two separate images, the picture of girls and the name of the mag. |
yeah thats pretty easy to do.

I would suggest just paying a PS expert to do it for a small amount of money, as it would only take less than 10 mins for them. |
do it with masks, or very steady hand of a select brush, mainly you want to make a layer of the image you want on top and erase the bg from that area .. photoshop has a nice bg erase it takes time to make it look nice...
|
christ.. the easist way is to make 2 blank panels put your logo on one and then put your "pic" on another. then create a third blank with whatever the fuck ya want tfor a background and drag the logo on first then the pic .. this is a lamest way to explain layers quick. I can make that in under 2 minutes. just practise.

Cut out around the girl's head and cut/copy layer back over the text. See http://tailynn.com for examples of her e.Zines covers
