What's the best LCD 17' monitor money can buy
 

I'm looking for a monitor with good Response Time (8ms or less) and Contrast Ratio (500:1 or more). I don't care how much it cost, I'm not willing to lose what's left of my little eye sight just to save a few dollars.

So what shoud I buy.

why not get a dell 24" for like $900.

You should go for a 19" instead.

Just got an Acer 19" for 350 bucks..

Cause I want to put it on a 12 inches deep desk. 17" seems to be the ideal size for my desk.....

i have sony flat panel LCD "XBRITE Technology"---i looked at a bunch of them and chose this for color.

very happy with it.

agreed, if it will fit in your desk.

Get a 19" man ... worth the extra $.

Yeah, LCDs look like crap on analog input

Then I guess you have never seen a NEC MultiSync LCD1765 in person. The video is just amazing and it using analog. I seen it with a wall of other LCDs and pictures and videos look the best by far!!!!

It's probably an exception then :)

As a general rule, LCDs look a lot better with digital input
