Why does acrobat reader starts when entering GFY?
 

Strange ... whenever i come to GFY, acrobat reader starts up. How comes ????

Yeah, well, I realised it was a universal picture for GFY. I can use it 90% of the time. But I still try to use it only on special occasions, like this thread. :1orglaugh

I recently got hit by a nice batch of spyware from a sponsors hosted video galleries. I will be exposing them as soon as I clean up, investigate and clean up again. In the meantime I have had acrobat trying to install itself every time I open up IE.

With that being said, the sponsor may try hiding themselves, they probably know who they are, and they do hang out here. I will have more on this when I confirm the infection came from the galleries and not the domain that was linking to the galleries.

acrobat did that to me too, I reinstalled acrobat and ran the updates right after the install. now i'm good to go

no shit. Came back to GFY just now and Acrobat started again. WTF!!!

something strange going on. already ran norton, adaware, cws, hijackthis, spybot, etc... and nothing. :helpme
